Trillian's own lock screen on Windows now tells you how many messages are waiting. It's also the update that moved GIF sending to KLIPY, four days before Google shut down the Tenor API.
Unread counts while Trillian is locked
Unread count while locked
The count sits in a badge on the lock screen's icon. Only the number shows, never who sent the messages or what they say. The lock window's title says Trillian now too, so it's easy to tell which app is locked.
Lock it from the menu
Never locked Trillian before? Choose Lock from the Trillian button's menu.
Pick a PIN
The first time you do, Trillian asks you to pick a PIN, and that's the PIN you'll type to get back in.
GIFs from KLIPY
The GIF browser now uses KLIPY by default. Pick a GIF and it drops into the message box, ready to send with Enter. The May 26 update had already started showing the KLIPY GIFs other people send you, and this one fixes some that still didn't display.
One for IT, plus fixes
If your organization installs Trillian for everyone on a PC with the MSI installer, that copy now updates when Trillian starts, instead of at your next Windows sign-in.
Of the 14 fixes, two you may have run into: sending a file from the contact list's right-click menu works, and closing a chat window can no longer crash Trillian.
