The Mac app switched to KLIPY for GIFs on June 29, one day before Google shut down the Tenor API. The same update adds a slash command for sending a message quietly.
GIFs from KLIPY
KLIPY is the GIF service Trillian moved to in Tenor's place. On the Mac, picking a GIF works the way it always has.
Quiet messages with /silent
Send a message with the /silent command and the other person gets it without a sound or a notification. February's update brought silent sending to the Mac, and now there's a command for it.
Also fixed
Your status now goes offline when you close the lid, and editing a message Pro keeps its @mentions. Pasted text that starts with / is no longer treated as a command, and scrolling with an external mouse is fixed. The app no longer comes back with no window after being minimized, and the occasional crash while searching history is gone.
