What are the benefits of using Trillian for Web?

Our servers allow you to remain signed in even after you've closed your web browser, so you can check in from any web browser at your leisure. There is no set up required if you already have an Astra Account; your settings and contacts will be loaded automatically!

How do I sign in?

You need an Astra Account to sign in. Note that Astra Accounts are new and previous users of Trillian for Windows 3.1 don't yet have one. If you are having difficulty registering, visit our registration page. Alternatively, you can register your account using Trillian for Windows or Trillian for iPhone. Once you have created your account there, all of your account settings will stay synchronized so that you don't have to re-enter them when using Trillian for Web.

Why did I receive an IM via email after I signed out?

If you don't sign out before closing your web browser, you'll remain signed in to Trillian for Web. When you come back, your conversations will be right there waiting for you! After some time, if you don't come back, we will email you any unread incoming messages. If you don't wish to remain signed in just remember to use the sign off feature in the upper-right of the page.

Which browsers are supported?

Trillian for Web is designed to work with all modern web browsers. We have confirmed compatibility with with the following browsers:

- Safari 3.0, 4.0+

Does this work on mobile phones?

Trillian for Web may work with some mobile phones that support Adobe Flash. iPhone users can stay connected using our Trillian for iPhone software, available now in the App Store!
